In an ever changing world of diversity and various global change as caused by events such as pandemics, trade-wars etc, a new graduate is faced with a task to secure their first job. Needless to say, it is in a very competitive 21st century world where soft-skills are now more than ever, sought after. The World Bank and Geneva ILO news both reported that as of 2018, the world unemployment rate was an average of 30%. Namibia's 3unemployment rate was at 33.4%, making it higher than the average unemployment rate in the world. The rest of African countries show similar statistics, in a higher unemployment rate. These are the statistics that a new graduate who is not yet placed in an employment position has to scale against.
The ability to be employable and carry good chances amongst your peers lies in the foundations that you set, with regards to various aspects that the prospective employer might be looking for. 
This episode looks at a revised, employee-centered and active way of trying o secure your first placement, whilst exercising soft-skills.
