Trump wants what is best for America and will make outlandish statements at first just to get peope's attention but at heart he wants peace on earth and uses economics as a stick - but will use actual weapons if necessary. Also, the Nuclear threat is something he wants to minimize and he knows the Nuclear capacity of Russia.
