On this segment of Blueprint for Wealth, Wayne Zell discusses sole proprietorships, followed by the Owner of Willowcroft Vineyards & Co-Founder of K2M, Lew Parker. Lew Parker purchased Willowcroft and moved his family there in 1979. After discovering that the technology of grape growing had changed to permit high quality European varieties to be grown in Virginia, he planted the first acre in 1981. The historic red barn which pre-dates Civil War times, provided a wonderful location for a winery and Tasting Room. The first wines produced in 1984 won medals, a trend which has continued.
