Listen "We Got this! 4 women navigating grief on the holidays (special episode)"

Episode Synopsis

Grief is always hard, but it can make the holidays overwhelmingly sad.  Having lost my father earlier this year, I decided to host a special podcast with 3 guests who have also experienced the pain of losing relatives, broadcast live on FB.
We meet Shannon Werner, whose sweet, generous father was her world and passed away shortly after Christmas in 2021.   She had to navigate tremendous grief along with motherhood and being pregnant with her second child.  She finds solace this time of year (and always) by carrying on her father’s compassionate, benevolent spirit and being generous to others.
We meet Amy Kokoles, who’s experienced significant loss in the last few years - 11 people including her Mom, FIL and uncle between 2021 and 2022.  Through her brave and vulnerable sharing we also learn about how she lost a father-like uncle over 20 years ago and then her own biological father after reconnecting with him.  Amy’s pain and loss is accompanied by her spiritual connection to her ancestors, and she brings them to life through her writing and beautiful crystal creations.
We meet Jenny Cheifetz, who lost her mother 30 years ago from the day that this podcast was recorded.  When she was just 18 and beginning college the unthinkable happened - Jenny lost her mother, who was also her best friend and much loved in her community.     Jenny has built a career and wonderful family with loving children, and while she still wishes she could call her Mom during challenging times, she makes it a priority to live a life of purpose and positivity.
