Black tar is a track in Xenoblade Chronicles X, composed and arranged by Hiroyuki Sawano, with lyrics and vocals by mpi and David Whitaker. This music is heard whenever the party engages an enemy in battle. In-game, it is split into two parts. The first part is played during ground combat and the second part is played during Skell combat.
