Listen "New Year, New Tea"
Episode Synopsis
Join Brandi Grayson to discuss the challenges and obstacles families face today. Discussions, guests, and interviews will focus on vulnerable populations--specifically Black families. We cover controversial topics, from religion to race and from relationships to policies to legislation. Join the finest hostess with the most-ess Brandi Grayson every week.
Brandi kicks off the show with talking about her resolutions and intentions for 2025 with producer Luke during this time of reflection heading into the new year. Brandi then tackles local news from around the community and the world. We recap a story out of South Africa about a black doctor who is using 3D printing to cure deafness and then listen to a clip from Shea Evans talking about how many inventions black folks have contributed to the world.
Then, Brandi provides a recap of what happened the last time she was on the air talking about the incoming charter school to Dane County. She waited while folks said their criticism of her take on the first feedback session for the charter school and watched where the tea spilled. She then shares the update on the potential for a celebrity boxing match here in Madison with all this fallout.
