Bison fullback Hunter Luepke rushed for 110 yards and added two touchdown catches to lead the offense, while NDSU cornerback Destin Talbert had a game-saving interception in the end zone with 3 minutes, 5 seconds to play in the fourth quarter. The Bison (13-1) advanced to the FCS championship game for the ninth time in the past 11 seasons. NDSU has a 9-1 record in the FCS semifinals since 2011. The Bison play the Montana State-South Dakota State winner in the national title game, which is slated for Jan. 8 in Frisco, Texas.
