Welcome to today’s episode. Our focus is on a remarkable faith leader known throughout Des Moines and beyond: Bishop Dwight A. Reed—also recognized as Pastor Dwight Reed. His name has become synonymous with spiritual leadership and community empowerment, both inside and outside the church walls.Bishop Dwight A. Reed was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, on August 15, 1958, and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. He grew up surrounded by a legacy of faith and service, ultimately earning a Master of Theology and ministering in Louisiana before returning to Iowa. In December 2017, Pastor Reed was appointed head of Christ Apostolic Temple, now popularly known as Bishop Dwight Reed church, the largest predominantly African American congregation in the state.https://dwightareed.wordpress.com/
