Episode Synopsis

The Speakeasy Bourbon Club Special Episode: Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style Whisky Review.
Old Forester 1920, a throwback to the Prohibition era. This 115 proof bourbon is a palate pleaser. On the nose its got a bit of heat but quickly leads you to cherry, brown sugar and vanilla notes. After first taste, it provides a malty stout even mouth coat. The dark cherry and brown sugar become more pronounced and blend together nicely. The finish provides a peppery, ice cream sandwich finish. At $60 a bottle it's a bit on the higher end, related to value, but worth a try if its never held a spot on your bar. Cheers
