One would have to be blind to ignore that we too now live in challenged times where around the world democracy seems to be squeezed into an ever narrowing bandwidth where citizens are increasingly getting seduced with a self-righteous deep-rooted sense of inherited injustices with forceful narratives rendering even the media benign.
