Episode Synopsis
In this week’s show, we’ll be discussing several films coming soon to FilmScene. Our line-up includes camp cinema classic, Clue, which plays this Saturday night, January 31, at 11PM as part of Bijou After Hours. Next, we’ll be discussing The Boxtrolls, presented as part of The Picture Show, a family and children’s series, presented by MidWestOne Bank. The Boxtrolls plays tomorrow afternoon, Thursday January 29, at 3PM. Finally we’ll be discussing the 2015 Oscar nominees for Best Animated Shorts. The animated shorts will open at FilmScene this Friday, January 30. Joining us to discuss both The Boxtrolls and the animated shorts is Peter Chanthanakone, Assistant Professor in UI’s School of Art & Art History.
