Today I'm covering Hidden Figures (2016) which was directed by Theodore Melfi and is based off the book Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Mathematicians Who Helped Win the Space Race by Margot Lee Shutterly. It's a true story highlighting the black women at NASA who aided the United States in the space race in the 1960s!
