When Jesus walked this earth, He loved people so much that He was willing to tell them the truth, even if it was tough. Today, many people believe they are loving people by being nice to them and turning a blind eye to their sin, however this isn't love at all. 1 Corinthians 13:6 says that "love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth." If we truly loved people, we would be telling them the truth in order to save them; pastors would be preaching the truth to their congregation and not shy away from certain subjects in order to lead them away from a lifestyle of sin. Jesus loved every sinner He came across by encouraging them to leave their life of sin, and we ought to be doing the same.
