Do you want to be a disciple of Jesus? Do you REALLY want to be a disciple of Jesus? If yes, then you must DENY yourself. You must deny your fleshly desires. You must be willing to leave your lifestyle of sin and surrender yourself wholeheartedly to Jesus. Disciple means "disciplined one", so in order to truly be a disciple of Jesus, we must learn to discipline ourselves by abstaining from the life that WE want to live and instead live the life that God wants us to live.
