Episode Synopsis

Taking things and people for granted isn't something we usually do on purpose. It  happens gradually - like snow melting under a slowly rising son. Speaking of purpose,  sometimes we take for granted the gifts and life purpose established for us by God.  There's an old saying, "if you don't use it you'll lose it."       Gratitude is a great way avoid taking things for granted.  Everyday is a gift. Every breath is a gift. Be faithful in appreciating the smallest things  like a heartbeat.      Gratitude in the dictionary is defined as:  "the quality of being thankful;  readiness to show appreciation for  and to return kindness."       Hebrews 13:16  MSG  "Make sure you don't take things for granted and go slack in working for the common good; share what you have with others. God takes particular pleasure in acts of worship – a different kind of "sacrifice" – that take place in kitchen and workplace and on the streets."       1 Peter 4:7-11 MSG  "Everything in the world is about to be wrapped up, so take nothing for granted. Stay wide-awake in prayer. Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed  to the homeless—cheerfully. Be generous with the different things God gave you,  passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God's words; if help, let it  be God's hearty help. That way, God's bright presence will be evident in everything  through Jesus, and he'll get all the credit as the One mighty in everything—encores to  the end of time. Oh, yes!"      1 Thessalonians 5:16-21  ESV
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Do not quench the Spirit.
 Do not despise prophecies,
but test everything; hold fast what is good." Thanks for your time. Go do something nice for somebody.  Jesus loves you and so do we.
