Paul was honored to serve God and the message of Christ. He was not ashamed of the gospel because he believed in its power to save. Paul desired to visit the church in Rome. He prayed for them and encouraged them in this letter. God unleashed His wrath on sinners by giving them over to their depraved minds. They created for themselves gods after their own image. The righteous will inherit eternal life while the unrighteous will experience wrath and fury. Those who know and teach the Law and yet do not live according to the Law lead others from the Law. God’s children are those who are made righteous in heart, not just in appearance.
