The scribes and Pharisees took their places of power and passed judgment against others and pretended to follow God’s Law. Creating an appearance of righteousness will never be an acceptable substitute for a heart that is changed by the grace of God. Jesus explained some of the signs of the last days, including the fulfillment of prophecies. No one but the Father knows the day and time of Christ’s return. When that day comes, it will be too late for those who do not know Christ as Savior. Blessed is the servant who is prepared at all times, for he will be found doing the will of God when He returns.
