Listen "Framework - Sin & Restoration to Fellowship"
Episode Synopsis
Sin separates us from God, not our position as children but from His presence. Sin is our choice and when we do walk away from God, He is still there. In this session, Jeremy demonstrates this truth from the life of King David, a man who committed sins most of us would never consider and view as particularly horrible. And yet, when David was confronted and recognized his own sin, he confessed it quickly to God. This is a great example to us, the most obedient Christian will still sin in their life, and while sin impacts our closeness to God, it does not destroy our salvation, it does however remove the benefits we get to enjoy if we were in fellowship. So be like David, when you recognize your sin, confess it and be restored to fellowship with God.More information about Beyond the Walls, including additional resources can be found at www.beyondthewalls-ministry.com This series included graphics to illustrate what is being taught, if you would like to watch the teachings you can do so on Rumble (https://rumble.com/user/SpokaneBibleChurch) or on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLtV_KhFVZ_waBcnuywiRKIyEcDkiujRqP).Jeremy Thomas is the pastor at Spokane Bible Church in Spokane, Washington and a professor at Chafer Theological Seminary.
