This episode explores the biology and pathologies of white blood cells (WBCs), including their normal functions in the immune system, their role in various disease states, and the different types of hematologic neoplasms, which are cancers affecting WBCs. We will covers the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of these neoplasms, including leukemia and lymphoma, as well as the mechanisms of action of different treatment modalities, such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and bone marrow transplantation.
