Episode Synopsis
Send us a text
Dr Ongama Mtimka explains the importance of voting ahead of South Africa's national elections. The focus is mainly on the younger generation (1994-2006) who were born into democracy and have not been actively engaged in the previous elections. According to some young people that I've had conversations with, the reason for not participating in the elections is because they believe that the system is flawed and does not benefit young people and the previously disadvantaged citizens of the country.
