One Day Seminar | Justification | Part 2: History | Pastor Dean VanEvery | April 12, 2025 | Grand Avenue Baptist Church | Ames, Iowa This is the first One Day Seminar by GABC. These are deep dives into a single doctrine over the course of a single afternoon. Each seminar will explain the doctrine in Biblical, historical, theological, and practical perspectives. In this second lecture we consider the doctrine of Justification by Faith Alone from a historical perspective. First we trace the doctrine from the earliest church teachers, and follow it through several controversies into the medieval era, and in to the era of the Protestant Reformation.
