Family Goals and Gender Roles Overarching narrative of the entire bible...is this one...INCLUSION...Jesus brings us together into a NEW KINGDOM family....
Galatians 3:28 NLT 'There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. '
So why do some verses in Ephesians seem to contradict that? The book of Ephesians is one of the STRONGEST arguments written, which actually works to undo the role of male headship in the family unit....in fact it actually undoes any one person having a position of power in the family unit!

TAKE AWAY - This text speaks to us all TODAY...it it is saying the same thing to US as it did to THEM....Let Jesus' power govern your family....a Holy Spirit empowered family changes the world!!
