Roy Faulkner was the last master carver to work on the iconic etching on Stone Mountain.  His eldest daughter, Donna Faulkner Barron, shares how her father was a simple Southern man from humble beginnings.  He was not trained as an artist or attended art institutes.  But, he had a vision and understood how to make the granite facing of Stone Mountain come to life.  Enjoy this first installment of a three part series titled, The Man Behind The Torch.
