Today I talk about some of the darkest years in my story. While I try to keep it as matter-of-fact as possible, this part of my story can be difficult for some to hear. If that's you, then do what you need to to take care of yourself. Through bullying at home and school and not feeling safe, losing my best friend since birth, and feeling alone and isolated, I turn to coping mechanisms to help, but they can't fix the loss and darkness I feel.
