After the release of Hellboy II in 2008, fans eagerly awaited a third entry in the franchise, but a new Hellboy movie wouldn't hit theaters until over a decade later, and it wasn't a sequel. Instead, it was a R rated reboot of the franchise with David Harbour taking over the stone handed leading role. Many fans remained cautiously optimistic of the movie's potential, but the critical reception and box office sent a clear message: this is a movie nobody wanted. Until now!
