PGR contributor Peyton Williams caught up with Benton Panthers’ head coach Brad Harris following Benton’s impressive 42-0 shutout victory over the Siloam Spring Panthers.
In what was a “Battle of the Panthers,” Benton found themselves up 21-0 after the opening quarter of play. Coach Harris discussed the importance of avoiding injuries and talked about the overall team effort he saw while getting some valuable for reps for the second and third team.
The Panthers have now won three of their last four after opening their season with a loss against a national powerhouse in Bryant. They sit at 3-2 on the season and will return to the road next week as they travel to Little Rock Parkview to battle the Patriots.
