Step out of your comfort zone, here are a couple ideas:
Practice having a brave, compassionate conversation about an uncomfortable topic with someone close to you. The more you practice, the better you get.
Cultivate a relationship with someone who is radically different from you, knowing you might get it wrong. If you do, it’s a lesson learned, so be kind to yourself.
