Through 3 papers we explore Geert Hofstede's model of national cultural dimensions. One source details the model's six dimensions (Power Distance, Uncertainty Avoidance, Individualism/Collectivism, Masculinity/Femininity, Long/Short Term Orientation, and Indulgence/Restraint), its development, and applications. Another discusses using the model to understand business practices and employee behaviour across cultures. A final source investigates correlations between Hofstede's dimensions and COVID-19 data across different World Health Organization regions, analysing how cultural factors may have influenced pandemic outcomes.
