In this episode of Becoming an Influencer, Amanda Jewell sits down with OG YouTuber Emily June, also known as SweetBeautyx. Emily talks about what it was like growing up on YouTube, leaving YouTube, going to FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising), and her journey in between. Emily moved back to New York after school, where she started applying for jobs in the make-up industry and how she found herself in skincare. 
Emily has worked for brands like Milk, Tula, and is currently a consultant. She also talks about what she has learned over the years, and how she is starting her own skincare brand. 
Although Emily left YouTube for a while, she has recently made a return! The girls talk about it all in this episode! Emily is such an inspiration for young women to follow their dreams and to continue to learn. Emily also talks about changing your mindset if you are against 9-5 jobs, as working for someone else is the best thing she ever did!
