Listen "Episode 1: The First-Year Perspective"
Episode Synopsis
Welcome back for Season 2 of Becoming a Bearcat! We are excited to kick of Season 2 with personal testimonials of students who have just completed their first year at Binghamton University. We also discuss UNIV101 courses, a great way to continue the transition experience in a student's first semester, and showcase a new song series for this season where staff, faculty, and students show off their musical talents!
Episode 1's song is by Dr. Dana and the Jam Department, headed by Mountainview College's very own Collegiate Professor Dana Stewart. The highlighted song is called "Enjoy the Ride" off of their new album hitting Spotify this summer.
Check them out on Facebook and Instagram, both at @TheJamDept
Special shout-out to our student guests Sarah Zarember and Orientation Advisors Eli Engler and Michelle Boateng for sharing their experiences and advice.
Find out more about UNIV101 courses HERE and thank you again to Albert Zhang for joining us on the podcast once more!
We'll see you next time for Episode 2: Campus Community Wellness, premiering Friday, July 8th.
