Our minds and lives are more peaceful when focused than when we are distracted by a dozen things.Noticing nothing is unfortunately what we often do. Walking, chores, or even driving can be done with half attention, doing something but having your mind on something else. The distracted person often hasn’t thought to try to be in the present moment, they are robotic in action, mind disconnected from body. I's easy to feel unsettled. Looking and listening can help us settle down.
