When we talk about life changing messages on this podcast, our guest in this episode embodies that probably more than anyone we’ve interviewed.  Emily Hartstone’s personal brand has become very personal over the last 9 years.  In the process of battling rare diseases since being diagnosed in 2014, she realized that the healthcare industry was trying to ‘take away her timeline’.  This prompted Emily to start her own foundation called Empower the Patient, helping people learn how to become their own health advocate.  In addition to being a highly accomplished entrepreneur, she aims to share her journey and create positive change in the healthcare industry.
