Prior to joining AURA, Ameerah was Chief Diversity Officer, Director of Equity and Inclusion and Title IX Coordinator at Texas State University. Before Texas State she served as Special Assistant to the Chancellor and Title IX Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and Assistant Director of Institutional Equity at Kansas State University. Ameerah is a proud HBCU alum, having earned her undergraduate degree from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA.
