Dr. Keli Christopher knows how it feels to be counted out. That is the reason that she is so passionate about equity in education. Dr. Christopher is the founder of STEM Greenhouse, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A school district where only 5% of the Black students are proficient in math. STEM Greenhouse has an after school program and summer camp focused on helping children become better prepared for college with a focus on science and math. By the way, Dr. Keli is also the third Black woman in THE WORLD to receive her Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering.
