Once you’ve calculated the correct daily dose, divide it evenly into four doses to be given every six hours. You may need a pill splitter to do this accurately. When you are ready to administer the medicine, dissolve it in a small amount of water, then soak a piece of bread in the water and give it to your bird as a treat. Alternatively, you can mix the aspirin water with a little egg yolk to mask the bitterness and feed it to your chicken with a needleless syringe.
