Dr. Remy Wyatt is a Texas native whose roots in purebred Limousin cattle shaped her lifelong passion for the beef industry. Growing up on ranches in both Texas and Kentucky, she gained early experience in the cow-calf sector and heifer development, which led her to pursue a degree in Animal Science at West Texas A&M University. While there, she discovered her love for meat science and worked with the Beef Carcass Research Center, traveling the country to collect and analyze carcass data from major feedlot research projects.Her journey continued at Texas Tech University, where she earned her Master’s in Meat Science in 2016, followed by a Ph.D. in Ruminant Nutrition from Iowa State University.
