D&D 5e has a lot of numbers and abbreviations. Stats like 99HP, 18AC, and 2 attacks per round have mechanical implications, to be sure, but what do they really say about your character? And, more importantly, what do they narratively represent when that character is in combat? This week, Rob and Steve look at making the combats at your table more immersive by focusing less on the numbers on the page, and more on the action in the scene!
