There are many ways an enterprise architecture discipline can be structure in an organisation, but I suggest that some configurations are more effective than others. The position I take is that business architecture and information architecture are not merely business-oriented functions. They should be owned and operated by the business and be paired with solution or technology architects on the technology side.
