Paul confirms that there is only one foundation to build upon. That foundation is Jesus Christ. Christ has laid the only foundation. All other religions and philosophies are sinking sand. If you stand on the foundation of Christ, you are capable of building a life pleasing to God. If you do not stand on the foundation of Christ, you are standing in the path of judgment.
