In today's episode, we welcome newcomer, Troy Woodard to the show to join us with Wauwatosa Mayor, Dennis McBride. Troy ran for Wauwatosa school board and although his campaign didn't produce the results he was looking for this time, we thought it would be interesting to talk with Troy and the Mayor about various topics related to public office. Both Troy and Mayor McBride share their personal experiences as we discuss motivations for running for office, along with the challenges involved with holding a public office, including public criticisms and potential threats faced by elected officials.
