Arija McQuillan from Ari Agency brings more than 20 years of real estate experience, as both a sales and buyer’s agent, and across both residential and commercial, to her business.

She uses that experience to achieve strong results for her clients, who are generally first home buyers, families looking to upsize and downsizers.


As Ari tells Buyer’s Agent Institute founder Ben Handler, most of her clients have been in the market for about six months before they engage her services; some even longer.


“We've worked with a few clients lately who've been in the market for up to 18 months before engaging us. And we've managed to turn around their buying time frame very quickly and I had one client that … actually bought the first property we showed them after looking for 18 months,” she says.



Contrary to what many people believe, there are more good deals on-market than off-market, according to Ari.


If a buyer can’t find one, it’s often because they’re looking at the wrong type of properties, they don’t understand market conditions or they don’t understand that different agents use different negotiating styles. That’s where a buyer’s agent provides value.
