Liz Thompson was born on Long Island, NY and studied marketing in college, graduate school and worked as a product manager for several large CPG companies in New York.  She then switched gears, dropped it all, and attended  The French Culinary Institute in New York before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a new path. She owned and opened two restaurants, moved on to teach culinary, and then had to pursue a second career change.  Liz lost part of her sight overnight and had to access her skillset in terms of what angle of the food industry she was the most passionate about and could do mostly at home. Today she focuses on recipe development and new product development, helping individuals launch a food company and get their products to market.
