Listen "Carole Nuriel - Antisemitism in the middle east"
Episode Synopsis
Carole Nuriel grew up in Israel, born to French speaking Moroccan-born parents and is known mainly for her extensive work with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) a prominent international organization founded in 1913 to combat antisemitism and bigotry.
Her work has lead her to consult with many types of people living within Israel including the Bedouin and Druze and she is a regular media commentator and a frequent speaker at conferences and expert forums, providing insights on global antisemitism.
In this edition of Babel Undone she talks about how antisemitism is much more of a problem for Jews outside Israel and how the country of her parents birth, where Jews and Muslims lived together in harmony for centuries, has helped provide a blueprint of what the middle east could be.
