What happens after we die? Jesus gives us the answer in Matthew 16. It depends on who you follow.If one follows self or the world, you lose your eternal destiny with God. If you follow Jesus you gain everything for forever. Peter's confession of Jesus is not enough. One must deny self, take up one's cross and follow Jesus. This is the true definition of faith. What good does it do to gain the whole world only to lose one's life? Am I living for myself and to impress the world? Then I have missed the meaning of life in Jesus Christ. I need to have the right confession of Jesus and then follow Him, then I will gain the meaning of life and its treasures for all eternity. I choose Jesus. Who do you choose?
