Jesus lived the Spirit filled as a role model for us.  It was centered in His relationship with His Father.  He desired to please His Father in all acts of love and obedience.  He lived for His Father's purpose.  He followed His Father's plan for His life. We are called to this intimate way of life in the Spirit.  Our desire is to please our Father with our lifestyle.  We seek to fulfill His purpose in our life, which is the best we can live in this sinful world.  We know His plan and walk in the Spirit to honor His plan. This is the life of abiding in the Father and Son.  It is full of love and oneness expressed in the power of the Spirit.  Thus, relationship with God is the key to the Spirit filled life.
