God created us in His image.  Part of that image is greatness.  We all desire to be great in who we are and what we do.  We do not want to be ordinary, but to excel in all we do.  The problem is our sin nature has corrupted this meaning of greatness. We want to have a sense of significance.  This definition of greatness comes in being like Jesus and living the life of love and truth that He taught and lived. We can choose the temporary greatness of this world and strive for temporary rewards or choose to take up our cross, deny self, and follow Jesus.  We will discover that Jesus' way gives us a greatness the world cannot understand or give.  We discover greatness in life through sacrificial love and in blessing others.
