As we see the horrors of war in the Ukraine flash across our screens, I cannot help but think of Jesus's prophecies and the last days, especially in Matthew 24 and 25. Our prayers go out to the people of the Ukraine, Russia and the world. Let us take a look at the difficult passage of Matthew 24:15-31, especially "the abomination of desolation spoken by the prophet Daniel." I believe this has a twofold meaning and application that will help us understand the season in which we live. God and Jesus both expect believers to know the times in which we live!
