Coach Lead Educate Mentor #Projection101
Clem Harrod is the Founder and Chief Projection Officer of CLEMCO.AV which is a labor consulting and networking resource for independent contractors in the Live Event Production industry. Clem began his STEM-based education at William H. Turner Technical Arts High School in Miami, FL and later received his degree from Florida State University’s College of Communication. His professional career as an independent contractor began with the Orlando Magic in 2002. After working 15 years in professional sports broadcasting, Clem decided to focus solely on the execution and management of the video projection aspect of corporate events and conventions.
As CLEMCO.AV grew, it built a reputation of supporting Audio-Visual Technicians as they travel the globe, working events for many Fortune 500 companies. Clem then extended his personal and professional resources to create The CLEMCO Network. With mixtures of career guidance and individual brand management to tax/financial and insurance providing services, The CLEMCO Network became a one-stop shop for professionals in a gig-based economy.
Clem believes in sharing the knowledge he’s gained throughout his 25 years of industry-related experience and various business ventures. Thus, in April of 2020, in the beginning months of the pandemic, Clem published his first book, Career Projection 101: An Independent Contractor’s Guide to a Successful Business and Balanced Life. Since its release, Projection 101 has been an invaluable resource for hundreds of freelancers and small business owners. www.clemcoav.com/career101
More recently, Clem accepted a position as the Technical Operations Manager with Performance Paradigm, a global brand that works to shift corporate environments to be more equitable, diverse, and inclusive.
