The agency receives more complaints about extended car warranty scams than about any other subject.Simply put, never respond to a phone call about a car warranty unless you placed the call. Scammers may even know what type of vehicle you drive. In some states, that information is public and easy to obtain. But no reputable car warranty company will ever call you to offer you a plan.Recalls for the week: Volvo 2001-07 V70s and XC70s Wagons: Faulty Airbag Inflators To resolve this potentially deadly issue, dealers will replace the driver-side airbag for free.
