To connect with the element of air, we look at our capacity to have a sense of space, emptiness and the void. In our external world there is constant stimulation and bombardment to the senses, and for many of us, this is creating a barrier to the spaciousness we deeply long for. “I need space", "I’m too full", "I need a break”, these are familiar statements because for so many of us, we have not been taught how to listen to the call from within, to touch that emptiness. Befriending this space, we can begin to experience the gap as a richness, as a place of abundance that gives us a sense of peace.
